Special Event: Anglicans in Gdańsk, Then and Now

 Date:      17.00 Friday 21st April  2017 and 9.30 Saturday 22nd April 2017

Place:      Gdańskie Towarzystwo Przyjaciół Sztuki , Chlebnicka 2, Gdańsk

The event will be conducted in English and Polish.

The Anglican Church in Poland is planning an event to enable the wider community in the Trójmiasto to understand more about the Church of England and the Anglican Communion. Sessions will include a short history of Anglicanism, a look at the Celtic and monastic roots of Anglican liturgy and a retracing of the footsteps of Anglicans who lived in Gdańsk in the past. There will also be an interview with the Chaplain of the Anglican Church in Poland and a Church of England vicar will share her experiences in an English parish today.

Ask away! The event will include a ‘question panel’ in which three Anglican clergy are prepared to be grilled with questions submitted in advance by members of the pubic. Have you got a question about the Anglican Church? If so, you can send it via the contact form on this website or by e-mail to anglican.gdansk@yahoo.co.uk
